With John Prine's final Folks Festival encore we said goodnight to our sold-out 2010 festival season. From Telluride to Lyons, it was perhaps one of our most magical summers of music ever. Thanks to all of you who shared your music, your energy, and your voices with us all summer.
Plan to share one last weekend on Planet Bluegrass at our enchanting Mabon Celebration with Adam Aijala and Ben Kaufmann (of Yonder Mountain String Band) on September 18.
We closed our 2010 festival season with the 20th Anniversary of our Rocky Mountain Folks Festival (August 13-15). Our "summit on the song" continues to celebrate stories and songs with this year's international lineup of Ani DiFranco, David Wilcox, John Prine, The Swell Season, Jenny Lewis, Marc Cohn, Greg Brown, Abby & Béla, and many more. Thanks to everyone who planted their chair in the cooling waters of the St. Vrain River for 3 inspiring days of music in Lyons.

Tickets were completely sold-out for the 38th Annual RockyGrass Festival (July 23-25) at the Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, CO as we welcomed Doc Watson, Sam Bush, David Grisman, The Travelin' McCourys, The Horse Flies, and some of the finest campground pickers in the world for three unforgettable days along the St. Vrain River.
In 2007, Governor Bill Ritter, jr. declared June 23 Colorado Bluegrass Day - honoring Planet Bluegrass for "using renewable energy to help protect our environment while producing a world-class festival." This honor reflects our years of leading the way in sustainable festivation and the green festival movement in America.
